How to unlock the One Step at a Time achievement in Persona 5 Royal - Definitive Guide

You'll be introduced to Mementos on 5/7 and it's pretty much an unmissable achievement as you have to complete the request before continuing with the game. I would recommend bringing in a Persona that has the Zio ability as the "boss" of this request has a weakness to electricity, so as long as MC and Ryuji use Zio on their turns, followed by an All-Out attack, you should make pretty quick work of the boss here. After the fight, the achievement will unlock.

Story-related and cannot be missed.

Requests, or 'Missions' in the Japanese version, are largely optional quests given throughout the game, which involve entering Mementos and finding a boss on one of the procedurally-generated floors. You will get these throughout the game, with most being automatically added to your requests list. Some are missable if you don't read a certain text message by Mishima, while others are tied to confidant ranks.

For some requests, you'll need to do some research, for example asking NPCs questions or eavesdropping on conversations to obtain information first. Generally this research doesn't spend in-game time.

The bosses generally aren't difficult and are closer to the mini-bosses in the Palaces, using an existing Persona as a template for the boss' moves and affinities. The requests are sorted into ranks, which corresponds to the boss' difficulty.

You will get this trophy on 5/7 with the request "Beware the Clingy Ex-boyfriend!". Unlike Persona 5, you do not need to do all Requests for the trophy. You only have to complete one request, and this request is mandatory for story progression. The trophy will unlock immediately after.
