How to unlock the Collection of Knowledge achievement in Persona 5 Tactica - Definitive Guide

Fusion calculator: https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p5t/personas Prices are a bit wonky

There are 206 personas, but 12 of them, the "legacy personas" (Ardiane, Asterius, Athena, Izanagi, Izanagi-no-Okami, Magatsu Izanagi, Kaguya, Messiah, Orpheus M, Orpheus F, Thanatos and Tsukiyomi), require NG+ in order to fuse, so the maximum amount the compendium can be filled in the first playthrough is 94%

Edit: Forgot to mention that some personas require quests with each kingdom's set of five quests unlocking a new fusion. These are Black Frost, Principality, Seth, Satanael, and Shiva.

Edit 2: Listing the legacy personas and removing sentence about them being in the DLC tab (outdated info)

Shiva ardha and satanael can only be made after finishing all quests until that point the combinations make another persona altogether

Thanks, I've put in a note for that. Are ye sure about Ardha though? The calc I listed above is saying Shiva is the Kingdom 4 reward, and that's the only one I'm uncertain on

I believe ardha is a progression from shiva like the all the angels

Ah I see, so it has an indirect quest requirement

Am I reading this guide right in that you need to purchase the DLC to complete this game to 100%? I thought that wasn't allowed.

It sounds like the guide is saying you need to purchase the Picaro Summing Pack + Roaul Persona in order to complete this achievement on your NG+ playthrough.

exactly that

Okay I just checked and the bit about the legacy personas being in the DLC section was accurate at time of writing. The calculator has since been updated to remove them from there, so I've removed it from the guide. Thanks for bringing this to my attention

Can anyone confirm if having the DLC personas automatically gives you the last 6% of the compendium from NG+? Or are they separate entries because they're the picaro versions?

The last 6% are unlocked in NG+. Ye have to complete the entire game, make a cleared game save file, then play that

Yeah I understand, I'm playing through NG+ now to get them. I was just was wondering if the DLC personas counted for the completion since they're all the same ones as the NG+ personas, just Picaro versions - but I guess that's not the case unfortunately.

Anyone know do you have to level up again all the way from lvl1 on ng+?

Unless I missed something, you do have to level up from level 1 all the way to 91 in NG+.
I highly suggest having three low level personas with EXP bonus inherited and registered before starting NG+, that way you can equip them as soon as the velvet room lets you. I recommend playing on the easiest setting for NG+ and avoid using Erina when possible since she can't equip personas. Then play through the story as far as you want until you find a stage you wish to grind off. I prefer the survive 5-6 turns levels since you can just end your turns and quickly complete the level.

Yeah just doing it now. Thankfully, you can equip any of your registered personas no matter their level. So I have a bunch of lvl90+ with 'Knack for Conflict' giving the best xp boost. Should be fairly quick to blast through to get to 91.

For those looking to get the last 6%. Here is how you do it:

1) Complete the main game, make sure to craft a bunch of high level +exp personas before completion
2) Start a NG+ on SAFE mode
3) There will be 8-10 NEW personas you have to fuse in NG+ and you will need to get to level 91 to do so
4) Complete the story until you get to at least stage 32. I found this to be the quickest stage to level fast on, could complete it in and restart it again in 1 min 30 seconds (I timed it)
5) Rinse and repeat stage 32 grind until you are level 91
6) Craft all Personas
7) achievement unlocked

Took me around 4 hours to get this done.

It wouldn't be a Persona game without a “fill all entries in the Persona Compendium” trophy, and Persona 5 Tactica is no different. In order to unlock the ‘Collection of Knowledge’ trophy in the game you need to collect all 206 Personas.

There are, however, a few things in Persona 5 Tactica that make this perhaps the easiest out of the lot of them:
  • Firstly, it's definitely not as hard as the mainline games and that's down to the fact that you’ll get Personas as end of mission rewards, and won’t need to capture them.
  • Secondly, you can carry a ton more Persona out of the gate, and you’ll unlock extra storage capacity after you’ve completed each Kingdom.
  • And finally, the vast majority of the fuses are 1 + 1 type Fusions. There are no triple-threat fusions per se, and only 19 Special Fusions (of 3 characters or more), but those unlock naturally as you go through the game and the game lists these for you in the Special Fusions section as soon as you unlock them. You’ll also be allowed to summon already registered Personas from the same menu without going back to Compendium to summon them, so it’s super quick - provided you’ve already registered the required ingredients for the fuse.
On top of that, it should be noted that you'll only be able to fill 94% of the Person Compendium in your first playthrough (194). While most are unlocked via simple fusions, you will need to complete all the Persona 5 Tactica’s Quests too, as each Kingdom’s batch of Quests will unlock a new Persona to fuse. For assistance on the Quests, see the Conqueror of Kingdoms trophy_silver.png trophy description.

The other 6% (12 Personas) are tied to New Game Plus.

Fear not, though, we've prepared a full Persona 5 Tactica Personas fusion list, which should make sure you get this trophy with ease.

What we will add here, however, is a couple of strats that you should adopt as soon as you are of sufficient level, to make this process less painstaking.

Firstly, you’ll want a serious amount of money and XP to fuse all of these - money to retrieve Personas to fuse all of them needed to 100% the Persona Compendium, and XP to get to level 91 in New Game Plus to finish off the Compendium.

In order to do that you’ll want to fuse the following Personas before you get into New Game Plus - as your level will be reset to level 0 when you do.

Below you will find the best Personas to fuse for making money and grinding XP. Then, you can pick and choose which you need to prioritise. For instance, if you want to grind purely money, you can; while if you want to prioritise XP, you can do that too.

Two quick notes before we press on: Firstly, the abilities do stack across characters (so, using three characters with the Easy Money passive Persona ability will count towards your money earnings); and secondly, one Persona cannot have two instances of the same ability, but they can have 2 different traits of the same category (so, a Persona can’t have two instances of Easy Money, but it can have Easy Money and Treasure Hunter).

First things first, here are a list of Personas with notable XP & money passive traits:
  • Sandman (Level 23) - Treasure Hunter - Increases money gained at end of battle.
  • Neko Shogun (Level 30) - Keen Eye - Increases drop rate of rare Personas.
  • Anubis (Level 35) - Keen Eye - Increases drop rate of rare Personas.
  • Tam Lin (Level 32) - Efficiency Aficionado - Increases EXP gained in battle.
  • Dionysus (Level 71) - Knack for Conflict - Greatly increases EXP gained in battle.
  • Ganesha (Level 51) - Easy Money - Greatly increases money gained at end of battle.
The best Persona to grind money, then, is Ganesha. Here’s how to fuse the best money grinding version of Ganesha:
  • Ganesha (with Easy Money & Treasure Hunter):
    • Yaksini + Sandman = Pisaca (carry over Treasure Hunter)
    • Pisaca + King Frost = Valkyrie (carry over Treasure Hunter)
    • Valkyrie + Sarasvati = Ganesha (carry over Treasure Hunter)
Then, for your other 2 characters, use Ganesha in a fuse and carry over Easy Money - make sure you’ve registered the aforementioned one first, though. You can fuse the following Personas (amongst other more) using Ganesha to create a Persona with Easy Money:
  • Abaddon (Level 76) - Ganesha + Surt
  • Arahabaki (Level 34) - Sudama + Ganesha
  • Atavaka (Level 63) - Ganesha + Bishamonten
  • Atropos (Level 38) - Yaksini + Ganesha
  • Attis (Level 73) - Ganesha + Yoshitsune
  • Baphomet (Level 52) - Fortuna + Ganesha / Jatayu + Ganesha
  • Barong (Level 49) - Kikuri-Hime + Ganesha
  • Bishamonten (Level 70) - Ganesha + Atavaka
  • Black Rider (Level 56) - Ganesha + Cerberus
  • Byakhee (Level 63) - Ganesha + Cu Chulainn
  • Cerberus (Level 54) - Barong + Ganesha / Yurlungur + Ganesha
  • Chimera (Level 72) - Ganesha + Beelzebub
  • Cybele (Level 75) - Ganesha + Hastur
  • Dakini (Level 52) - Rangda + Ganesha / Pazuzu + Ganesha
  • Dionysus (Level 71) - Ganesha + Mother Harlot
  • Forneus (Level 59) - Ganesha + Melchizedek
  • Garuda (Level 59) - Ganesha + Kali
  • Hanuman (Level 68) - Ganesha + Gabriel
  • Jatayu (Level 52) - Koumokuten + Ganesha
  • Kaiwan (Level 39) - Naga + Ganesha
  • Kali (Level 62) - Ganesha + Loa
  • Kin-Ki (Level 28) - Succubus + Ganesha
  • King Frost (Level 60) - Ganesha + Byakko
  • Kumbhanda (Level 43) - Setanta + Ganesha
  • Lakshmi (Level 74) - Ganesha + Metatron
  • Lilith (Level 58) - Norn + Ganesha
  • Loa (Level 69) - Ganesha + Sandalphon
  • Melchizedek (Level 61) - Ganesha + Mot
  • Moloch (Level 64) - Ganesha + Oberon / Ganesha + Dionysus
  • Mot (Level 67) - Ganesha + Moloch / Ganesha + Throne / Ganesha + Attis
  • Mothman (Level 33) - Nekomata + Ganesha
  • Naga Raja (Level 54) - Sarasvati + Ganesha / Ganesha + Skadi
  • Nebiros (Level 70) - Ganesha + Scathach
  • Oberon (Level 65) - Ganesha + Lakshmi
  • Ose (Level 42) - Take-Minakata + Ganesha
  • Parvati (Level 54) - Narcissus + Ganesha
  • Quetzalcoatl (Level 65) - Ganesha + Hanuman
  • Rangda (Level 51) - Hecatoncheires + Ganesha
  • Red Rider (Level 39) - Lamia + Ganesha
  • Sandalphon (Level 77) - Ganesha + Lucifer
  • Scathach (Level 77) - Ganesha + Ongyo-Ki
  • Seiryu (Level 66) - Ganesha + Cybele
  • Siegfried (Level 78) - Ganesha + Chi You
  • Thor (Level 60) - Ganesha + Seiryu / Ganesha + King Frost
  • Throne (Level 68) - Ganesha + Odin
  • Titania (Level 53) - Ganesha + Parvati / Ganesha + Pale Rider
  • Valkyrie (Level 44) - Andras + Ganesha
  • Yamata-no-Orochi (Level 64) - Ganesha + Dominion / Ganesha + Chimera
  • Yatagarasu (Level 56) - Horus + Ganesha
The best Persona to grind XP with is Dionysus with both XP passive abilities. To fuse it, you’ll need to do the following:
  • Dionysus (with Efficiency Aficionado & Knack for Conflict):
    • Cait Sith + High Pixie + Leanan Sidhe = Tam Lin
    • Tam Lin + Thor = Ganesha (carry over Efficiency Aficionado)
    • Ganesha + Mother Harlot (or Alilat) = Dionysus (carry over Efficiency Aficionado)
Then, for your other 2 characters, use Dionysus in a fuse and carry over Knack for Conflict. You can fuse the following Personas (amongst others) using Dionysus:
  • Abaddon (Level 76) - Yamata-no-Orochi + Dionysus / Loa + Dionysus / Dionysus + Macabre
  • Atavaka (Level 63) - Baphomet + Dionysus
  • Attis (Level 73) - Bishamonten + Dionysus
  • Barong (Level 49) - Dionysus + Take-Minakata
  • Bishamonten (Level 70) - Dominion + Dionysus / Byakhee + Dionysus
  • Chimera (Level 72) - Dionysus + Cu Chulainn
  • Cybele (Level 75) - Dionysus + Attis
  • Dominion (Level 67) - Norn + Dionysus / Jatayu + Dionysus
  • Lakshmi (Level 74) - Dionysus + Mot
  • Loa (Level 69) - Chernobog + Dionysus
  • Macabre (Level 74) - Hanuman + Dionysus
  • Moloch (Level 64) - Ganesha + Dionysus
  • Oberon (Level 65) - Barong + Dionysus
  • Odin (Level 83) - Dionysus + Raphael
  • Quetzalcoatl (Level 65) - Skadi + Dionysus
  • Scathach (Level 77) - Lakshmi + Dionysus
  • Thor (Level 60) - Yurlungur + Dionysus
  • Zaou-Gongen (Level 78) - Dionysus + Nebiros / Dionysus + Chimera / Dionysus + Nebiros / Dionysus + Cybele
The 2 best Personas to grind XP and money simultaneously are the above two, but with different ingredients:
  • Dionysus (with Easy Money & Knack for Conflict) - Ganesha + Mother Harlot (carry over Easy Money)
  • Ganesha (with Easy Money & Knack for Conflict) - Dionysus + Naga (carry over Knack for Conflict)
So, if you’re going for XP, you should have a Dionysus fuse with Knack for Conflict and Efficiency Aficionado; and if you’re going for money, you should have a Ganesha with Easy Money and Treasure Seeker. There are, of course, different variations of each if you want to focus on everything, so make your choices wisely.

On top of that, to truly maximise money and XP, we’ve created another guide that talks about which mission to grind for both of those simultaneously. Check out that guide here:Once you have all 206 Personas, you’ll unlock the ‘Collection of Knowledge’ trophy, which should be your last - and will thus, unlock the platinum trophy too.
