How to unlock the Ride, Johanna! achievement in Persona 5 Tactica - Definitive Guide

Use Frei (or variations) with Johanna as Makoto when targeting an enemy with another enemy nearby. If the non-targeted enemy has a white line leading to an impact point before attacking then it means they're going to be "pulled in"

Make sure you unlearn any damage boosts, as the Vortex affliction is different to others in that it only takes effect on enemies that have been left alive in the radius after the damage has been dealt. Just use the basic Mafrei as it has the wider area of effect.
Then find a level that has a decent density of enemies that are not too close together, do an attack to pull at least a couple of enemies, end turn, then Undo turn to go again.
I personally completed this on the final level of the first world, by targeting one of the barrels near the end and pulling a couple of nearby enemies, but I'm sure there's more optimal choices.

@ReadAJChimaera - extremely useful tip.. THANK YOU. I was wondering why this hadn't unlocked even when I had been using Makoto most of the time.

Like Yusuke, one of the last Phantom Thieves that you’ll rescue in the first Kingdom in Persona 5 Tactica is Makoto Niijima AKA Queen. Once you’ve completed the 14th mission, you’ll be able to start taking out Makoto on missions.

Makoto’s Persona is none other than Johanna, the bike-riding nuclear-based badass, whose nuclear attacks include: Frei, Freila, Freidyne, Mafrei, Mafreila and Mafreidyne. Makoto and Johanna’s nuclear abilities don’t just do damage, but they also pull enemies within range of her attack’s Vortex into range too, while also dealing damage. The Vortex ability is great at setting up other characters, by piling enemies on top of one another, allowing others to follow-up with an AOE attack.

Simply perform 20 nuclear abilities and utilise Makoto’s Vortex to pull in enemies 20 times, and the ‘Ride, Johanna!’ trophy is all yours.
