Episode 4 - Story Quest: Phantasm Rampage

Train Gidran is the boss and only encounter of this mission. If playing on Casual you'll drop him in a second. Hardcore he'll take a bit longer.

He can be found in Tokyo missions but you'll most likely encounter him here if you're playing through EP4 story since you will start the story to unlock the previous Achievement.

Note that this achievement can only be obtained by defeating Train Gidran in a solo mission...in other words, in Story Mode.

Really? It should pop in any other encounter just like the other Achievements. It could be bugged if that's the case.

@The MaDaBa not necessarily. I did the ARKs Mission "Suppress Train Gidrain" and unlocked it once I felled the boss since I didn't feel like playing through the story missions.

How long is this episode? I've been playing it for hours and I'm still only at the second "combat" mission. The rest have all been cutscenes with lengthy loading times.

@dreampage it took me around an hour, but I skipped all the cutscenes until I popped the story achievement for doing the first mission, and I also got lucky by getting a bunch of 100,000 EXP tickets when I logged in so that farted my Summoner from Lvl. 1 to 28, then it was just client orders til I hit Lvl 30. Due to the nature of the game though YMMV.
