How to unlock the Turned Into a Principled Paragon achievement in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis - Definitive Guide

Hero Class is the new class added to Episode 5 and is an advanced class.

The original Japanese requirement was skipped for North America so instead of 3 unique class titles at Episode 5s launch you only need 2 classes at Level 75 (in the screenshot I went above and beyond and did all the OG JP requirements for just in-case they didn't skip this part of the game, however due to trying to reach parity with JP they have sped up a lot of things)

Once you pick up your titles from the title counter Cofy will have a Client Order for you

External image

The Client Order is to Obtain the Title "To The New Frontier" which will be available at the Title Counter once you have your two classes 75 (which is two titles in itself)

External image

Once you have claimed everything from the title counter, return to Cofy and turn in the Client Order.

This unlocks Hero Class

Now you can speak to the class consultant and switch to Hero Class. You don't need to level this one up. The achievement is simply Equipping this Class

EDIT: Sorry I haven't had free time to make a proper video explanation of how I reached 75, I used my phone and edited the whole video that way using Xbox Recorded clips. I quickly go over each step so if I moved too fast for you please leave a comment below and I'll explain any step you need help with.

This video is how I earned 1 Level a day leading up to Episode 5.

Okay, I'll try to throw up a video soon showing how I did my 75s.

I have 3 classes 75 and because I knew in advance what Episode 4 would add and how much time I had till episode 5.

It's not the fastest method but I would at least push a level a day until I no longer needed to level.

Episode 6 will have the same requirement when it drops as far as I can tell (which should be December) so I'll try my best to give some information on that.

There's probably a better method to earning EXP but my way was definitely lazy where I'd only put in an hour or two a day while waiting for this achievement to drop.

I've been playing Phantasy Star Online 2 in Japanese on PS4 for years (even though I couldn't read anything) so I've just put everything I learned on PS4 and brought my knowledge to Xbox. There's probably a ton of things I don't know because I could never read. There's definitely things I know now that I didn't even know existed on the Japanese version lol

In Episode 6, do you know what the requirements will be for Phantom class? The guide on the Playstation sites just mentions getting two classes to Level 75, but I can't imagine that would stack with what we're doing now for Hero class?

It's still 2 Classes at Level 75. When Episode 6 drops just go to the counter and grab Phantom. I don't remember if you need to get permission from Cofy or not to grab Phantom but either way once you have Hero there's nothing else you need to do for Phantom

What's the most efficient way to get to 75? For those of us that didn't grind pre-update. laugh

Would you like a video on that?

Grinding out bonus missions is the laziest but that's what I did. Basically earned a level a day and turned the game off.

You could always get down on Advanced Missions with friends.

@Matty you need two classes on One character 75. The information is in the screenshots themselves

Ah shit, I never did get a class to 75. I'll get grinding now I guess...

I mean tbh my game knowledge for PSO2 is pretty low. I guess since the hero class requirement is two lvl 75 classes, it wouldn't hurt to throw that in your guide. This is already pretty informative though. Much appreciated.

what a horrible achievement i thought it would be the same as the last update where i had to just get another class to 30.

Gonna second @New Paralyzer's suggestion of Bonus Quests. I'm getting like 1.5 million+ XP from the Tokyo Gold Bonus Quest per run with a 150% Triboost active, gaining 2-2.5 levels every 10 minutes. It's trivially easy, as the enemies have little health but they do scale with your level so if you aren't careful you could get overwhelmed near the end - the helicopters love to juggle >_>

So to elaborate on what New Paralyzer said about Bonus Quests:

In order to trigger them you need Bonus Keys. You get these from A or S ranking the Recommended Quests from the Quest Counter (the ones with a present icon next to them). At the end of the mission, you may get one of these keys in the present (for reference today I was 1/3). You only get three chances a day.

You can also get these daily as login bonuses, from ARKS Missions and sometimes just from the devs (I got a couple as apologies for emergency server maintenance the other day).

As I said in my previous comment, what rules about these Bonus Quests are that the enemies and bosses all scale to your level so you're guaranteed to gain 1-2 levels every time. I went from level 41 to 69 in a couple days doing this, and it sure beats the hell out of farming Client Orders.

This leads to my second point: when doing the Recommended Missions, play on Very Hard or higher and grab as many client orders as you can, since you can easily get a half a level or more out of these as a fallback plan in case you're unlucky and don't get any Bonus Keys.

I'm working on a video showing how I did it with ease. Work has been delaying it.

Wasn't the video I intended to make but I think it's decent considering I whipped it up on a phone real quick.

If you want free time, don't work at Amazon.

Is it confirmed you need TWO classes at Level 75? When I go to the Class Counter right now with Hero greyed out, it says on-screen it only requires one class. Could just be an error and still has the same Client Order requirements for two classes. I guess I'll know over the weekend for sure.

Thanks for the Bonus Mission suggestions, had five keys in my inbox when I logged in and got from 31 to 50 right away. Shouldn't be too bad of a grind.

@Za Pantsupati In the screenshots above it says in the image itself the Hero CO is for 2 Classes.

If you can manage to claim it with just 1 class 75, let me know and I'll edit the Solution.

That isn't even the most efficient way either lol hardcore PSO2 players would give different advice but I'm a simple guy

Hey New. I just started playing PSO2 yesterday. I'm currently level 40 with my main class. I was wondering, should I be using bonus keys right now or saving them until later? Also, I have been finding that there often aren't enough players online to complete urgent quests. I was doing an urgent quest today and the game put me in the mission area with one other player. We had to quit back to the lobby because it was far too difficult to do with 2 people. It seems that urgent quests aren't viable unless there are enough people online to actually complete them.

If you're desperate for a level up you can use the keys but you'll get more mileage in the long run if you save em.

This game is a huge MMO with players from all over Xbox and Steam online every day. There is always enough people for an urgent quest. Make sure you're playing on a block with plenty of people. You can also choose to find players from other blocks when you select an urgent quest. The green elevator will let you select blocks. Play where other players are also playing.

@Fooga I've been doing a few Buster Quests, and Advanced Matches require you to be level 80 to play them. Just being Grade 3 isn't enough. As the achievement only requires you to have two classes at 75, your advice is kind of redundant. Also, I've found that Buster Quests and Urgent Quests give significantly less XP than gold keys. If you have Game Pass Ultimate, there has been a PSO2 perk every month for the last few months which gives you a bunch of gold keys for free, along with XP boosts and other items. You can also get a few gold keys from the Mission Pass tiers. I don't know any other reliable ways to get keys unfortunately.

Here's where I saw the script about one class from the counter.

Finally done.
All I did was daily quests and my keys & the trick or treat urgent quest.
I was originally leveling up my second class as a sub class but it levelled up incredibly slow.
So once I hit level 80 on my main, I switched my sub to main, and went from 60 to 75 in 3 days, mega easy/fast :)

Well I found a really good method in addition to the keys after realizing they're not guaranteed drops. Figured I'd just drop this here since it probably won't be relevant in EP 6 (I read that content has the most efficient ways to level up).

After doing some digging (this game really tells you nothing) I found that Buster Quests are by far the best way to level. Doing about 10ish episode 5 story quests unlocks the mode. It has free and ranked versions, but playing a free game gives you an xp boost for 2 ranked games. Ranked has 3 grades and once you reach grade 3 (really not that hard, I've never lost a game), your ranked matches are a "hard mode" which give more EXP. With a 100% tribooster and the free match boost, I'm getting about 70-80% of my EXP bar and I'm level 70 on my second class, and the ranked matches are about 10 minutes long and constant. These are even better than Urgent quests imo.

Been playing less than a week and doing this with the occasional key, I got my Ranger to 75 and my Bouncer just hit 70. Very quick.
