How to unlock the Master of Parries achievement in Phantom Breaker: Omnia - Definitive Guide
A Protection is performed by pressing the analog stick or the D pad in the direction of a ranged or physical attack the enemy has engaged you with.
if the enemy is standing to your right and facing you.
You’ll know you’ve done it currently if your character has a special block animation and glows briefly.
You can boost this with two controllers in the 1P Vs 2P matches.
Keep in mind you have to be in the Hard variant to perform Protection. Omnia or Quick do not support this type of action.

I do wanna add that the achievement can be obtained in training and you can set up a recording to launch constant projectiles

It works in training, too. You can set the second player control to CPU-Normal. It will attack constantly, then just perform protections until it pops.

Protection is a defense mechanic that is unique to the Hard Style that is similar to those of the parries featured in Street Fighter III. This can be done by pressing at the precise moment when an opponent's attack is about to strike at the player, but like Slip Shift, it should be noted that the timing of when this mechanic can be used will vary depending on the type of attack you want to protect yourself from.
If this is executed successfully, the player's character will have a blue flash allow them followed by a spark indicating that they have protected themselves against their opponent's attack. For an example, please refer to the screenshot below:
As the trophy's description says, you will need to perform an accumulative total of 100 Protections to protect yourself from any attacks from your opponent(s) in order to unlock it. Additionally, you can also unlock Parries for Days whenever you protect yourself from your opponent's attacks at least ten times or more during the current round of any match.
If you're doing this in Training Mode or Versus, you can have a second controller help you with this in either mode (and in the former, you can record any attacks that you want the dummy to do on the third page of the pause menu's Training Options, which can be found by pressing twice while you are there, and there are five slots you can use). Be sure to time carefully while attempting to protect yourself from any attacks from the training dummy or second controller.
You can also keep track of your progress towards this trophy by going into Records in the main menu, and then go to Play Data. While you are there, press to go to Achievements and you'll be able to keep track of your current progress towards this and the other trophies that require you to perform a specific amount for certain actions.
