After agreeing to the user agreement and setting up language, press 
on the board, and select Training.
It will give you a guide on how to play, controls, and what to expect.
After going over all the ways to gather evidence and successfully evading a ghost during a haunt (which won't kill you here, it'll put you back at the door before the haunt), you'll get you achievement. You don't need to finish the tutorial from here, but best you do so that you know how to finish a mission proper.

Complete the tutorial. Should take around 10 minutes or so, suggested you do this first anyway, as the controls are a little bizarre.
