How to unlock the Disposition achievement in Pillars of Eternity - Definitive Guide
Disposition is the player’s “reputation” based on personality and choices that will create NPC interactions. There are ten personality types for NPCs, and the player’s reactions to them generate disposition.
You increase your disposition by talking and acting in quests and dialogue. There are three ranks to attain and each is tracked individually – you can have several dispositions going on simultaneously. Each rank is met when a certain amount of points are gathered – and you gather points depending on the event. A minor option gives a measly 1 point, average is 3 and major is 7.
Rank 1 requires 25 points, Rank 2: 50, and Rank 3: 75 points.
Here are the possible dispositions, gain ranks by keeping to a certain type until you earn it, then move on:
Aggressive – Hot-headed, bold, or impatient.
Benevolent – Charitable, kind, soft, or weak.
Clever – Sarcastic, sassy, foppish, or irreverent.
Cruel – Merciless, sadistic, brutal, or imperious.
Deceptive – Dishonest, manipulative, or shrewd.
Diplomatic – Cautious, tame, or courteous.
Honest – Guileless, sincere, or straightforward.
Passionate – Zealous, romantic, or obsessive.
Rational – Practical, standoffish, or cold.
Stoic – Tight-lipped, cool-headed, or simple-minded.

Glad people have started to put guides up for this game, good stuff - it's also worth noting that you can exceed level 3 of a given disposition and also that you can turn on an option in the games menu under "Difficulty" which will display which dispositions certain dialogue options contribute to, so if you're looking to push one from 2 to 3 for the achievement you can do so more reliably.

A good place to get those final points if you're close to the third one is the hearing with the duc near the end of Act II, using the difficulty setting mentioned above.

you should earn this naturally through game play however There is a very easy way to see which dialogue options affect the disposition.
Press , select Difficulty, now Check the Box which says Show personality/Reputation. This will then show the consequence on personality by every dialogue option. This is very handy .

The Xbox Series X/S may makes it a bit easier. The quick resume function that the console offers seems to prevent the achievement tracking to reset. Tested if with a few achievements and it should work with all ''one sitting'' achievements. Keep in mind that an power outage will result in a reset so maybe don't take to long if you're going for it.

Given the finicky nature of how achievements are tracked in this game, I found that you need to have three dispositions at EXACTLY rank 3.
When I followed the walkthrough, at the point I should have unlocked this achievement, I had one of my dispositions at 4 and it did not unlock.
If you are like me and following the walkthrough, take care to make sure that your dispositions DO NOT GO ABOVE 3 until you've unlocked this achievement.
