How to unlock the Super Murderer achievement in Pillars of Eternity - Definitive Guide

This has to be obtained in a SINGLE campaign session.
If you close the game, your save goes back to 0 kills.
You can get a GAME OVER and your kills will be SAFE, but
DO NOT LOAD ANY SAVES apart from the continue option.

Play on story mode, and rush thru the campaign as fast as you can watching your kills go up.

Do not enter the pit until you are over the 1200 threshold, as once you enter the bit there is no way to exit. Theres no turning back.

Going for the full 1200 kills took me around 8 to 10 hours of rushing the campaign and castle dungeon. You may be able to achieve it faster if you get kills thru the white marsh content.

This achievement took me several tries, do not minimize the game. Once you start your session entirely focus on it, although pausing the game is fine, I don't know if the game is able to register kills if you suspend it and quick resume it later.

DO NOT USE SAGANI ( female hunter with wolf pet), as on SEVERAL occasions the wolf glitches, and becomes unable to move, be killed or anything of the sorts resulting in a failed run.

My preference was 3 paladins and 3 wizards, and although playing on story mode difficulty the game is not forgiving, I don't recommend Fighting any of the main dragons, unless you know how to kill them flawlessly. (Although this is how I tested if the 1200 kills stayed Upon loading on a game over).

I think the first bit is incorrect. I got this achievement in my campaign despite closing the game many times, and re-loading a save at various points. The achievement is bugged though as I got the achievement before I actually completed the game.

The Xbox Series X/S may makes it a bit easier. The quick resume function that the console offers seems to prevent the achievement tracking to reset. Tested if with a few achievements and it should work with all ''one sitting'' achievements. Keep in mind that an power outage will result in a reset so maybe don't take to long if you're going for it.

You dont lose Quick Resume from power outages do you? I disable power to my Xbox console every night (save energy) and Quick Resume still loads up my games fine next time.

Despite the achievement's description, you don't actually have to finish the game to get this. The only requirement is that you kill at least 1200 creatures/kith. If you are playing through the game as a completionist, you should get this naturally. I got it after killing everything you can't negotiate with in Od Nua, everything hostile west of Dyrford, and doing just about every quest possible before act 3 in those areas. There is plenty of room to skip quests, just make sure you do a lot. If you have the White March expansion, this achievement should be even easier.

If you have any ideas on how I can improve this solution, I'd love to hear them! There may be something that isn't here that should be, or an easier way of doing this. I'm always open to suggestions. If you notice any typos or poorly phrased sentences, please let me know.
