this achievement spans three quests and involves your position as Master of Caed Nua, your stronghold, these can be completed during Act 2, however the final quest Battle of Yenwood has no time limit and spans across the game, building allies across Defiance Bay, White March Part 1 and White March Part 2 can affect the battles outcome.

Quest 1 - A Call to Court
Return to Caed Nua during Act 2, to trigger this quest. Interact with a messsenger in your Great Hall who will invite you to Ducal Palace to discuss your position as the keeps new owner.

You learn that the Keep is being claimed by Lord Gathbin, progress through the dialogue, your responses dont affect the outcome but can change your characters disposition (benevolence, deception etc)

Quest 2 A Return to Court
After a few days a new quest will trigger, meet the messenger again in your great Hall, this time go the The Charred Barrel in Brackenbury.
. After a few more days another message will appear, Deal with the rabble infront of your keep.

the Battle of Yenwood Field
Marshall Forwyn will arrive and advise of the battle, you essentially have unlimited time. the battle can be completed right away or you can advance through the story making alliances with different towns which will improve your chances of winning. before you beging the battle make a hard save.

Allies you can pick up include:

.

After initiating the battle there are some dialogue instructions and then you must defeat Lord Gathbin in a battle.

i was able to complete this quest at level 9 with just the Crucible Knghts as Allies. i had not even ventured to Twin Elms or started the WHite March missions. However I wished I had waited until i had picked up more allies as the battle would have been bettwe,

Its preferable to the player whether you want the achievement quickly or whether you want to wait to maximise the benefits of alliances.
