Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire

There are seven companions in total. Note they are different to sidekicks as they will have a backstory and quests attached to them. I will list all seven companions in the order you can get them.

Eder: Automatically joins your party right at the start of the game.

Xoti: When you teach Port Maje she is standing at the camp in the centre of the map. To get her to join you at this point of the game you must speak with her BEFORE you complete the quest Stranded. If not, she will be at the Temple of Gaun in Neketaka.

Aloth: He will join you during the Stranded quest and is located at the Engwithan digsite.

Serafen: He will join you AFTER the stranded quest. After repairing your ship and leaving port you will be approached by a ship. Listen to the conversation and make sure to accept Serafen’s offer to join your party.

Pallegina and Maia : Both these companions can be recruited at the same time. During the quest The Veins Of Eora the queen will offer you the help of one of them, be sure to ask her for them both.

Tekehu: The last companion Tekehu can be found during The Shadow Under Neketaka quest which is given to you by the queen. He is situated at the Water Shaper Guild on Periki's Overlook. Speak with Tekehu and he will offer you his companionship.

Serafen, Pallegina and Maia are potentially missable depending on your conversation choices.
