You unlock decorative items for your profile by doing various things in the game. By the time you play through the tutorial, have a few turns at the default tables and enter a couple of events, you should have at least one of each type of decoration. Hit 
and go to Personalization to change your look. Somehow, the unlocked items tend to blend in with the locked ones, so if you don't think you have any things unlocked to use, look carefully. If for some reason you don't have a decoration of each type, come back after completing Collect Them All 
, as you should unlock enough trinkets in the process of getting the rewards to satisfy this trophy.
