How to unlock the Nine Zeroes achievement in Pinball FX - Definitive Guide
Simple way to get this achievement. Go to the events tab and use your free wild west rampage game to play in the tournament. You can play an unlimited number of games and depending on your skill, after 10 to 20 games you will get a 24 hour free pinball pass as a reward. This allows you to download and play any game.
Download Attack from Mars during your free 24 hours and you'll get 1 billion in 1-3 games. The scoring on there is crazy

WWE, it is under Williams Collection 1. It was on the right from memory. The thumbnail does not stand out at all and I missed it when scrolling through the list twice.
Alternatively, you can download it manually and that will make it show up in colour so you can't miss it.

Just remember that you only have 24h from the start of the gifted premium pass. Then it reverts to a 1 hour trial for the table.

I saw the pinball pass come up as a reward. But it doesn't seem to have activated. Do i have to go somewhere to claim/activate it?
Edit : closing the game activated it.
Nice solution. I made 3.4 billion in one game

Played a table called Theatre of magic and got 502 million on first try and it took 4-5 minutes, so this table gives you plenty points compared to most other tables.
The points you acquire are cumulative to all of your games. To see how much points you exactly have, press SELECT, then Progress. You see a new window with achievements and table rewards, which you can switch with LT/RT. In the Achievements-Tab you see the "Nine-Zeroes"-achievement, which shows you how many points you currently have. So you can always follow along, how many points you still need to get 1 billion points.
As for example, i have played a few games and already have 15.021.805 points as of 16.2.23. This shouldn't take that long. I think the best mode for this is arcade as you can choose 1 active and 2 passive bonuses which will increase points for certain actions.
Try to get art shots (i don't know if this is the accurate translation), if you manage to do this, you can get a nice boost of 1,5million up to 2,5 million per shot. (I don't know if this can be more, but 2,5 million was my highest).
Active Bonuses:
Slow Motion will give you 50 seconds of well..slow motion which you can use to plan your next shot ahead and prevent a loss. Remember that you need to press X for that as long as you play. You can "pause" this, by releasing the X button.
Points Boost: Doubles the points for the duration of 30 seconds. Remember that you need to press X for that as long as you play. You can "pause" this, by releasing the X button.
Passive Bonuses
Multiball - increases points in multiball-mode by 10%, however activating multiball is a bit more difficult
Strike Tower - misspelled bullet ricochets, additional 40% of the points - (this sounds weird translated directly from German lol) - not sure what this actually means, maybe "dirty shots" or some sort
Combo-Time - Combo-Shots gets 50% more time, so you have more time to keep the combos and continue the chain, meaning you can even get more points
Art-Shot: Hit the marked paths for an art shot and get an additional 20% value of the points for it
Ball saver: 20% more time for the ball saver, so in the worst case, you can hold a game longer until you run out of balls (3 balls in total)
Distance: Long Shots gets you an additional 5000 points (it means if your ball travels along the entire table)
Remember: You cannot activate the same bonus twice!
Of course you are free to choose which bonuses you want to activate. I'll probably go for combo-time and art-shot for the passive ones and points boost for the active one.
Statistics: With the settings above i managed to get 6,5 million with an art shot and finished the game with 11 million points, not using the full 30 seconds of the active bonus.

FYI: Playing in events does not count toward your total, it seems

Strike tower is for pop bumpers, and art shot is skill shot.

This sounds quite daunting, but is not as bad as it sounds. Two more free tables were added in April 2023, and the Fish Tales is very generous with scores. A score of 100 million is pretty easy within a 5 min timed game - just keep hitting lit lanes. If your pinball pass is active, it is possible to get 1 billion points in a single game on Attack From Mars.
Only games played from the "your tables" count for this stat, events do not add to it. Playing practice mode also does not count - timed games are probably best to build scores as you can progress further in the 'story' of the table. Progress can be checked by pressing from the main menu and selecting progression.
