How to unlock the Ghost Sighting achievement in Pinball FX2 - Definitive Guide
For this achievement you need to get up to the attic of the Haunted Mansion and banish a ghost on Paranormal! (Single player only.)
First, have a good look at the entire Paranormal table. Notice at the top left there is a closed door and below down the stairs is the top left flipper. In order to get inside the Haunted Mansion you need to send a ball up the main ramp and be prepared to use the top left flipper to shoot it up the stairs against the door. Doing this once will open the door. If your talented enough you can catch the ball with the top left flipper and send it through the entrance. If not, you have to repeat the process until you are inside the Haunted Mansion.
Once inside the Haunted Mansion hold (LT) to catch the ball. Afterwards, review the layout of the interior and for future reference you have to depend on catching and holding the ball. Hit any of the targets inside the mansion on either the first or second floor to reveal a ghost location. To get to the second floor you have to launch the ball through the ceiling and once again try to catch the ball with either flipper. From here, send the ball through the top left path out onto the balcony and if possible catch it again. If not, just try to use the balcony flipper to launch the ball into the sky towards the left. This will cause the ball to trigger the device as seen in the mansion and banish any ghosts you have previously revealed. The achievement will then unlock.
A ghost does not have to be present when going for the device and any revealed ghosts DO NOT carry over from ball to ball.
