How to unlock the That Sparkled achievement in Pinball FX3 - Definitive Guide
Just so people know, you don't need to do this in one sitting all coins from all games add up you will notice they pile up on top of your pinball machine.
There are a couple of ways of getting coins from what I can tell, but the main way is to complete the board game mini game when you break into the bank.
also if you hit the ball in the bank socket and you get the random surprise the lady can give you a token as well, they was the 2 ways I grinded mine anyway.
hope this helps.

What a grind. Also (as with most of these single table achievements) use Rewind, save it for after the timer runs out to keep your games going as long as possible. Using the front door entrance to start the mini game seems, on average, to give you the shortest route to the vault.

To get this achievement you need to collect 20 magic tokens from the game. You can do this over multiple games, in fact I don't think it's even possible to get 20 tokens from a game.
There are 5 different ways to get tokens on this game.
-Completing the bank vault mini game, also known as the board game. This is most like where you will get most/all of your tokens.
-You can get them as a random reward from the teller. More about the teller in a moment.
-There is a question mark on the board game where a random reward is a token. It is extremely rare. I have played a lot and never got one, however from the guide it says it's possible.
-There's another space on the board game that's called Candy 2000. It involves a scrolling 3 letter combo where if you stop on the letters "TOK" you get a free token there. This is also extremely difficult. Never tried using rewind, might try and see if I can get it there.
-Finally after completing the board game, if you've managed to spell VAULT you will start the token multiball instead of Vault multiball. More on how to do this later, but this is the best way to get the most tokens at one time. It's extremely difficult to spell VAULT though.
Before I explain anything else I should talk about the table itself. It's totally unlike any other table.
First there aren't 3 balls with the possibility of extra balls. Instead there is a time limit which the game calls 45 minutes. However 5 minutes actually takes about 5 seconds or so.
After which you will be in a condition the game calls sudden death. This means any ball drain means game over.
And the ball drains all the time.
Many times your game may only last a minute or so never having gotten a try at the board game.
There are ways to increase how much time you have, however I'm only going to focus on the ways to get the tokens. You can check the guide, link posted at the bottom.
The teller is the sinkhole in the middle just to the right of the table. You can only get rewards under certain conditions. There are 4 rectangles in the middle of the table You must have "light deposit window" lit. If it isn't lit, spin the spinner to the left of the middle of the table sort of behind the targets. It's more easily hit by the upper right flipper.
So let's go over how to start the board game. It seems complicated but it's not too hard.
In order to start the board game first you must lock a ball in the vault. There are 3 sets of 3 targets you must knock down. 2 sets just above the bumpers and 1 below. You must knock down at least 2 sets of them. If you look at the table guide in the menu it points them out.
Then you must lock a ball in the vault to get access to the 3 doors to access the board game, up the top middle ramp of the table. Then 3 white rectangles should be blinking at the bottom of the table. These represent the 3 doors.
They are called the cellar, Roof, and front entrance.
The front entrance is also the teller.
The roof in at the top of the table. There are 3 lanes for the ball to roll over when you launch the ball, the roof access is a sinkhole at the bottom of the middle lane.
The cellar is on the top to the left of the center lane where you locked the ball. This is called a vari-target. You must hit this several times. Each time you hit the target, depending on how hard you hit it, the target moves back. After either the third or forth time you hit it a sinkhole opens up and you can access the cellar there.
The board game is relatively self explanatory, you'll just have to play it.
You can also light lock by hitting the teller while "light lock" is highlighted in the middle of the table.
Another way to start the board game is a random reward from the teller, she lets you skip the locking part and go directly to the board game.
Also if "light Lock" at the teller is lit and you hit the teller, you can lock the ball then.
If "call Guard" is lit, occasionally this will start the board game from a random award there.
If you complete the board game you will get a token and after completing the game vault multiball will start....
Unless you happened to spell out VAULT beforehand.
To spell vault you need to either hit the ball into the cellar hole before being able to start the board game. If you hold the X button to get a closer look at the table there are 5 different awards there and you get the one that is lit. The one you want says "safe". It's the forth one down. To change this the only way I figured out to do this is to roll a ball over all three roll over lanes at the top of the table. There must also be another way, I haven't figured out how yet. Anyway...
Hitting the ball in there while " safe" is highlighted will light 1 letter of Vault.
There's also a Code from the Candy 2000 board game space. Stopping on these codes: MOO or PLM or VLT will result in a letter of Vault.
Also a few question mark board spaces will give you a letter of vault. Again it's random. It's a "hit the flipper while the options are scrolling..." If you land on "code" here or a picture of a cow. There's at least 1 more that I can't remember....
Edit: just tried this and if you rewind you can get a consistent reward from the candy 2000 board game space. Once you pass VLT, PLM, or MOO, rewind and while rewinding, go past the appropriate code 3 times, and when it starts moving forward stop on the third one. Tried 3 times and it always worked.
Actually you might want try for the letters TOK instead to get a token.
I was trying to light all letters of Vault and this worked for it. Still haven't managed it. If I can do it I'll post another edit and give my results.
Anyway continue.....
If you manage to light all 5 letters of Vault then win the board game you will start the token multiball instead of the Vault multiball. Then hitting the center lane where you lock the ball will give you a token. Spin the spinner and hit that again twice more than the next time you can get another. I believe it's every third one.
Again so far theoretical since I haven't done it or seen it done yet
This is how I did this and how you may want to also.
First play The survival challenge so you can use the rewind upgrade.
Then save rewind for either when you lose the ball after sudden death or if you land on the wrong square in the board game. It works for either.
It also should be noted that you can get tokens from the challenges. Unlike all the other tables you should be able to unlock this achievement in the challenges.
I got at least a few tokens in the challenges.
For me it took forever to get the first few tokens because I didn't understand the table. Once you get used to it they come easier.
If you want more info look at the guide on the Zen forums about the table, here's a link:

Good luck, it's not easy.
And don't play the Assault on the vault part of the game. This uses a token.
If you don't know what I mean, once you get a token, when the game starts you can choose either the regular game or Assault on the vault.
