On the left side of the table, the second ramp in from the left has a computer icon under it that says Video. This is the ramp you need to hit. You will need to shoot this ramp 5 times to start the Assimilation Video mode. You must hit the ramp 5 times in one ball, losing a ball will mean starting over. The shot is a bit tricky at first since it's easy to hit the sides of the ramp, but after a little practice is not too hard.
In this mode, you use the flippers to turn your ship 360 degrees and the launch button to fire at red enemies that come in from the 4 corners to try to assimilate the 4 dots around you. They most frequently seem to come in from the top left but can come in from any of the 4 corners. The timing is very lenient, and it would be pretty tough to fail this mode. I assume that you could fail the mode once you start it and still unlock the achievement, but I was successful so I cannot confirm.

I really have trouble hitting this ramp.

I did this in Rescue Challenge mode. As long as you don't score big you can keep aiming for this until you get it. Ball drains don't interrupt the count but a tilt will glitch it and prevent you making anymore progress until you restart table.
