Finish / skip the tutorial (onboarding).
Press RB
once to select Tables.
Select Wrath of the Elder Gods (or any table you've purchased). Press A
.
Under Games Modes, scroll down to Classic Challenges and select Flip Challenge.
Once the games loads and does the flyover of the table press
and select Exit Table. Confirm Exit Table.
Scroll down again to Classic Challenges and choose one of the remaining three challenges (Distance, Ball, or Time).
Next scroll down to the Pinball M Challenges and repeat these steps with all five challenges here (Dread, Rescue, Survival, Madness, and Shiver).

This hasn't worked for me either. I aged through each mode until completion, and it still didn't unlock.
