Bombs are scattered throughout the level(Usually under or behind TNT blocks or in the middle of a rock formation)
Collect the bomb and press LS up + X to drop a bomb. The regular bombs do a one square dpad shaped explosion though diamond bombs have a large radius so take cover before dropping that one.
There are usually 2-3 bombs per level.
