In chapter 9 after the fire part you will be in a dark area. At one point you see a waterfall, then sliding down into a pond of water, following by a blue glowing plant where you need to climb up. Next you will be at an abyss where you can climb down. Don't go all the way, instead halfway jump to the right to a hidden walkway. Continue until a red glowing object appears and a rock will fall and slide towards you. Run back to the left and jump to the wall with diamonds and climb up before the rock is hitting you. After the rock falls down jump again right to the hidden walkway and go to the right. Now there is a glowing flying animal sleeping there. Go near and it will wake up and fly away.
Bingo, achievement "Lost in the Dark" unlocked.

This last bird is found late in game, after taking the elevator from the lava area down into the pitch black cave with very little lighting. As you progress through this area, you'll reach the end of your platform and see purple climbing vines going down its face below you. Instead of going down, jump right across the gap and continue right up the slope. Eventually some rocks will fall and slide down and you'll need to run left and jump back to the climbing vines and go up to avoid all the sliding rocks. Once they've all fallen, jump back across the gap, back where the rocks fell and continue right until you run into the final bird.
