How to unlock the Mossy Slumber achievement in Planet Alpha - Definitive Guide

In chapter two, after you slide down from the surface to a kind of foresty area, you will encounter a place where there is a little mini altar followed by a wooden bough you can't climb. Go ahead and right after that you enter a small pond where a fallen tree is lying in. Pull the trunk back to the mini altar, jump onto the trunk and then up to the wooden bough. A glowing flying animal will rush out of a bush and fly away.
Bingo, achievement "Mossy Slumber" unlocked.

The word you are looking for is "bough." Not bow. Two different things that may cause confusion.

This bird collectible is found early in the game, shortly after you drop into the purple and orange dark forest area. As you head right, you'll come to an obvious pond with a long log on it that you can grab to pull. Pull it left to the small archway and use the log to jump onto the arch, touching the bird and unlocking this achievement.

If you prefer to use a video, this collectible can be found at 12:35 in the video in the "Timeline Erased" achievement solution.
