How to unlock the Reaching for the Sun achievement in Planet Alpha - Definitive Guide

In chapter 7 you will reach an area where you hop from one green leaf to the next. After that you encounter a broken big robot in the background sending our round searching robots. Right after that you climb a wall and then see 3 big yellow flowers/platforms. The first two are out of reach, but the third you can raise with your day/night change ability on cn_RT. Do so and it will grow. There you can jump on a branch where a glowing flying animal will wake up and fly away.
Bingo, achievement "Reaching for the Sun" unlocked.

Just a warning, this bird is at the very last checkpoint at the end of the cloud chapter. If you miss the jump when the yellow platform raises you up, there is a good chance you will fall down a slope that you will not be able to get back up from. The bottom of that slope starts the next chapter so if you hit retry it'll put you at the bottom of the slope where you can't get back up. The only way to get back to it is to chapter select and play through the entire cloud chapter again. Learned the hard way.

As you progress through a dark forest area later on, you'll walk past the massive spherical security robot in a lake in the background, and you'll see robots flying out of him. Right after you pass him and climb the first wall you come to, head right and you'll come to some green flat plants on the ground, the last of which you need to walk over to progress. Stand on this one and change it to day with either or until the plant rises and raises you up to the top. Now jump right to the platform to find the bird.
