In chapter 3 after a pretty hard crouch and get not spotted area with robots and round droids on 3 feet (a bit similar to Star Wars AT-STs), there will come stone pillars. Continue and balance your way over a fallen pillar. After that you will stand in front of a slope where you slide down. During the slide you need to jump onto a stone pillar and further to a hanging tree trunk. At the end of the trunk there is another stone ruin. Do not continue but instead fall down and run back to the left. Jump onto a small plattform there. A glowing flying animal will wake up and fly away.

This bird is found shortly after the previous one. You'll slide down a slope and have to jump to platform on some glowing purple structures. After crossing a tree branch you'll drop onto some glowing purple stone chunks. Instead of proceeding right, go left after you drop down and you'll be able to jump to a collapsed purple column to find the bird sitting on it.
