You will get this during story progression. At the end of Chapter 4 (after solving the music puzzle), you will interact with a banner and be given the Amulet.

@Ereaser NL That's frustrating, I'd recommend using chapter select to replay it and see if that works.

I wasn't sure how you worked out which symbol applied to which mechanism but eventually noticed each mechanism has a different shape/pieces on the top bar that match the symbols you can find (the 4th symbol is found if you go up/left up the ledges and leave Mui to sit on the light switch, then you come back to the main room to see the symbol lit up in the top corner).
