There are three different game modes: Super Mix Mode, Cats vs Dinos, and Boss Hunt.
Enter to the portal and play any mode. Complete 3 matches and the achievement will pop up.

Hey mate, I used the link you put up, but that page didn't have any dates on it. Do you know if these events are still happening? And is this achievement still obtainable?

As of right now (and a year or so ago), PVZGW2 Mystery Portals have been discontinued*
