Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

Hey guys

I found an even faster way for that Achievement.

Play through the Plants Storymission until you reach the Citron Missions.

-Start the first Mission with Citron on CRAZY.
-Play until you set the third object to let the Z7 Mech Spawn.
-Lure him to your base or into your base.
-Stun him with the emp and try to hit the Window.
-Run into your base or a save spot where he cant hit you.
-Press Start.
-Respawn.
-Choose Citron again.
-Rinse and Repeat.

If you hit the Window of the Mech it counted as 2 stuns sometimes, i dont know why, but im happy with it.

Took me about 10-15 minutes.

Try it, have fun and maybe leave a message if it worked for you.

I found an even faster way to unlock this but it requires two controllers. All you need is your friend or 2nd account to play as the IMP and your main account to be the Citron. Both of you go down to the sewers underneath the backyard battleground. Have the the Imp stand in the central area near the training fish and use their mech ability. As Citron you can throw an EMPeach and then immediately hit start and respawn. You will respawn in one of two locations both of which can immediately stun the IMP again. I was able to get about 8 EMPeaches done per Mech Cooldown.

Go to private match, select vanquish confirmed as the game type, easy difficulty and for the team setup choose all imps. After around 20 kills into each game the imps should start spawning their z mechs, once this happens they will be show on the map as green and red icons, quickly roll towards their location and use citrons ability with the LB button to stun them. Took me a round 10 games or less to get this.

Based on my experience and in order to save your time I'll give you a few tips to get this one as painless at you can.

In your backyard go to plants side, MP settings > Private Play. Difficulty - Easy. Choose Herbal Assault on Zomburbia map. In Team Setup put your team to sunflowers only and the zombie team to Z7 Invasion. This will be a bit easier already since other mechs have more ranged attacks which can easily kill you.

Start the game. Run towards the objective but stay far away from it. That way your allies won't rush and capture it, providing you with more time and more stuns per match. Get closer only when you see the Mech sign on the screen. Now you'll have to be fast enough to get to it and press aiming to Mech's feet. Rinse and repeat.

It is important to start capturing around minute-minute and a half so you will advance to the next capture point. Sunflowers will heal you and keep you alive but they also can wreck any Mech pretty quickly, so be on the lookout for those signs appearing on the map or sounds of Mech falling down.

If you will concentrate on killing enemies and stunning every Mech that appears you will get around 10-15 stuns per game. I had to play 3 full games plus three more capture points in the next game, all that while rushing through the first game and capturing everything quickly. Time wise - this can be done in less than an hour.

Hope this helps to make it fast and have some fun on the way ( just listen to that party music on 4th capture point!!! )

Another way to do this is just split screen with a 2nd controller have the other join the opposition......so pad one a citron pad two an imp I got my imp to stand by the right hand zombie gate takes about two minutes to spawn the mech I stood just outside the gate spammed the empeach you get 3 hits per z mech spawn....so takes a while but easy and you can hunt snow globes, do target range, hunt gnomes in between ......easy boring but done. even better if you have a friend who can join your game as above but with banter :D

same method can be used for "Behind enemy vines" and the "Corn Identity" achievement's just have the other dude stand by the gate hence it stays open dash in ....... pop goes the cheevos

The easiest way is to do Peach mission 4 showdown. It spawns a shrimp Z-mech right next to the water. Hit it with the EMP and jump into the water. Your respawn will be 4-6 seconds massively reducing the CD as you can use it as soon as you spawn. Do it on Crazy so he doesn't die.

I got this achievement yesterday.

I found it easier by going to the citron story missions

3rd mission down is called Showcase (set difficulty to craazy)

For this mission you need to find your ally in a cage, he'll tell you that you will need a key to open it
Kill the key master to obtain the key.
Once you have done this, open the locked game then you will head over to the docks to fight
S.H.R.I.M.P Z mech

Stun him using LB, then i used the building right next to the docks to hide behind while you regenerate
It was counting as 2 per attack and took me only 3 games to achieve the achievement

Be careful not to knock him into the water as it will end the mission
