Get this easy is go to the flag and raise it get the 50 kills in let it go down and do it again you can get 1000 kills a hour doing this if you are fast

There is only 39 kills because you have to keep one zombie alive to bring down the flag.

To do this quickly, you need to set the difficulty to EASY and then run to the flag in the middle and raise it.
The first wave of brown coats are very easy to kill. It is best to use a plant with a decent spread or fire shot (fire chopper is great) and sit just outside the circle by the plant pot allowing them to capture it as you kill them.
What you want to do is leave at least one browncoat alive to take the flag at the end of the round and you can quickly raise the flag again. Each round takes around 1.25 min to get 39 kills, netting you betwen 1600 to 2000 an hour.
DO NOT KILL THE LAST ONE. It takes too long running back to the base and waiting, almost doubling the time it takes to get the same number of kills.
NOTE - You should do this at the end considering Epic Quests generally require you to get kills.

It is important you kill them asap while standing just outside the circle and then DO NOT kill the last one and let it finish taking the flag. By this time the flag should almost be taken, and then raise it again after the round ends. You may not get exactly 2000, but you will get close if you are using a spread weapon or fire or electricity which helps kill the brown coats or potted plants quickly.

Mode: Vanquish Confirmed (this makes enemies infinite if you don't pick up orbs)
Map: Frontline flats
Difficulty: Easy
Team set up: Zombie Invasion and Plants none
Crazy settings: Ridiculously low health, Infini-ammo and Speed boost craziness
Character: Kernel Corn
You seem to start on opposite sides. In the video I show you how to get to the spot I mention below.
2 minute video by TheOnlyMatto:
In the video it may be hard to see so I will try my best to describe. In the map, in the green grassy area there is a cannon. If you stand behind it, you can shoot straight between it and a tree. It happens to line up to an area where the enemy will condense. You won't likely see what you are shooting but you can get roughly 50-60 kills every 2 mins, never raise a flag and I only saw a hand full of easily dispatched foes while doing this. The rest were so far away I never saw them. My shooting method for clearing the area is precise. I am sweeping because they will stop condensing in an area after you shoot there long enough. By moving the aim, they will start to bulk up again.
Alternate route:
I use this when I shoot chompers because they have less range and it is easier to set up but it is also possible to do if you kill enough of them fast enough. They won't get near you due to being too busy grabbing their own orbs. This is on the opposite side there is a bridge/treehouse thingy with an overhang. The zombie video spins to show you better

Ok the best way that I found to boost kills is to go in solo Garden Ops.
This should probably one of the last achievements to go for.
Choose the level "Time Park" and set to easy difficulty.
Spawn in as a Sunflower (If you have the Vampiric Sunflower use this variant)
Once spawn in spawn in 3 cacti using the pots (Variant here doesn't really matter)
Plant Garden "A" While it counts in the first wave go through the teleporter back to the central hub and make yourself at home.
You dont really want to be leaving that lip next to the teleporter back to Zegypt. From here you want to try and aggro all mobs going through the hub. For some reason the majority of mobs will come through the central hub to get to the garden even if there is a direct teleporter from where they spawn.
You should only need to go back to Zegypt if your cacti experience any issues although to be honest the only times I had to go through was if they were dealing with a boss.
As you play as a healer just use your Healing pot when you are running low on health. You shouldn't really have any issue clearing all 10 waves and extracting. As the Vampiric Sunflower I was able to take any boss single handed without issues.
I was averaging 140-170 kills per Op and each op was taking about 18 minutes.
Please note that all enemies are worth one kill so when a group is going through concentrate your fire on the lower end enemies. Your Cacti will get the others that get through the portal.
As you are doing Garden Op's you can also get the Super Boss Waves for the "Not the Boss Of Me"" Achievement
I was able to get my Vampiric Sunflower through to max level during my ops so you would be able to get "Time to go outside" achievement.
After what seems a lifetime it will eventually unlock.
