When you are doing a solo ops mission labeled as a special ops (where you plant a garden and have to defend it) where you start the mission at is 3 pots. If you walk up to one and use it it allows you to plant an ally. Select an ally they will spawn in then use your d-pad up or down and you can switch characters.

Probably one of the easiest achievements I've ever gotten!
To do this right you need to be in solo ops mode. To get this just walk up to the RV and select solo op. When you start up there will be three pots in front of you.
To do the achievement properly you need to use at least one of them to plant and select an AI team mate to do the solo op with you. Pick any ones you want.
Bear in mind the more AI you select the harder the difficulty becomes.
From there it's simple. Press up
or down 
on the D-Pad and bam! You've swapped places with the AI! Press multiple times to swap between all the AI characters or back to your original character if you wish and carry on winning!
