To get this, follow the instructions of the achievement and kill a Gargantuar in Garden Ops Mode. They don't always spawn but they are part of the boss rounds.

You have to be the one giving it the final blow. So if you're really trying to grind for this achievement let your teammates lower his health and just as it starts to go very low attack it (or use a super attack like the sun beam of the sunflower - that's how I got it).
I think they are pretty easy and not very strong since they move so slowly.

It appears that this achievement is for some reason glitchy. Since the instructions of the achievement are not 100 % clear, maybe you don't actually have to finish off the Gargantuar, but you have to deal the most damage to him. Try this, if you still haven't unlocked the achievement!
Also a tip from https://www.trueachievements.com/iLag1337.htm: Try not using potted plants against the gargantuar but defeat him entirely on your own.

Okay. Got it last night. You need to KILL the Gargantuan without any help from potted plants as it won't unlock it (at least for me). Did land the last killing blow a couple of times but still didn't unlock. So I just played another round of Crrrrraaazy!! difficulty, only plant the pots until up to wave 3, and just survive until wave 5. Just make sure all potted plants (except Sunflowers) are all down before wave 5.

In order to unlock this achievement, you will need to play until wave 5/10/15/20 in Ops so the slot machine pops up. If a gargantuar face appears on a slot, it will spawn in and if you are able to kill it you will unlock this achievement.
