How to unlock the Hunting Season achievement in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare - Definitive Guide

I've found that using the Achievement app's new Snap feature can help out here. When you're getting close to finishing, simply Snap the app and then just kill Zombies. If you need that particular class of Zombie, then the progress bar will increase, and if you don't need that class of Zombie then it will obviously stay the same.
This will then let you know which type of Zombie(s) you need to focus on to finish the achievement.

I've noticed this can glitch out sometimes, if the bar doesn't increase then quit the Achievement app and then relaunch it, and it should fix itself.

Edit: Sighris pointed out in the comments that every four kills of the same enemy type would make the bar go up 1%, so make sure you're counting it then instead of every time you get a kill.

Might wanna mention the fact that 400 kills is 4 kills to 1%, so 4 kills of same zombie type would make it go up 1%

I'm really struggling with this achievement, the green progress bar was on 80% and only moving with every four scientist kills, now it's stuck on 90% and wont budge. Wish I could see how many kills of each class I have :(

@antibite 2006, most likely you need all-star, it seems to be the least played class.

My last ones were All-Stars and Engineers, play Gardens and Graveyards and camp the teleporters, that'll help you see which class you need!

Thanks guys, I will try and kill some All-stars later, I could have sworn I have enough of those class kills, it just feels glitched.

I feel a bit stupid, I was getting annoyed killing scientists for 3 days, and this goes from 90-100% in a few engineer kills, was convinced I'd done enough but nvm, thanks for the advice people, you kept me going when about to throw in the towel.

are you able to do this on garden ops or only in multiplayer?

I believe you can do this in Garden Ops, but considering the waves are random it may end up taking a lot longer to do so.

i'm pretty sure garden ops doesnt count for this as I played alot of it on the 360 and still havent got it. Also played a a few games on this version and it has stayed at the same percentage since I played multiplayer.

Yeah, no garden ops kills counted for me at all- sucks as I really need to get engineer kills, but nobody seems to playing as them :/

Unless I'm wrong there is no way to track which enemies you killed, but a good way to rack up kills quick is to play Gardens & Graveyards, use the Cactus Drone to call in a corn strike on a large pack of Zombies, either on the capture point or their teleporter spawn point.

It's also worth noting your kills in Garden Ops appear to count as my green bar went from the comma after Scientists to the first 0 in 100 Engineers (on Trueachievements) after playing Easy - Normal - Hard Garden Ops and not going into Multiplayer for a few hours. However I'm not sure how accurate or often it refreshes and this theory needs some more testing. but keep it in mind.

(Also I don't play much as Engineer but I assume their drone has an airstrike too so that should help rack up kills as explained above when going for the Plant counterpart of this achievement)

It's possible like 400 of those are foot soldiers for example, That's why it's frustrating not being able to track which ones we killed and how many times we killed them.

The trophy can only be taken in multiplayer, verified.

From experience I will say that this and the same second trophy will be the last you will have (Unless you scored on Garden Ops), it’s easier to go up to level 50 in the point capture mode, as soon as it is taken, and you don’t need tasks, go to Team Showdown , there are more often Engineers and Doctors + there is less running around, he is taken in these modes really faster. Kills don't count in Garden Ops

Just play Garden Operations or Multiplayer and the trophy will drop automatically.
