How to unlock the TVM Veteran achievement in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare - Definitive Guide
It's pretty much what the achievement says.
Just a few pointers -
> This includes Welcome Mat games
> This includes Classic Team vanquish
> Switching sides to the side with most players before the game can speed this up
There's no way of tracking this in game, but TrueAchievements provides a great green tracking bar on the achievement to gauge progress

This achievement took me some time before I made some simple switches that made a big difference.
#1 Switch sides during the match if possible. Each time you die, you have the option to switch sides. You may not be able to if the other side has equal number or more players, but always worth a shot. If you switch to the team in the lead, it quickly increases your odds of a win.
#2 If you aren't having luck switching sides, and you're an aggressive Offensive Player, like myself, keep in mind that every time you run into the fray and get yourself killed trying to win, you're increasing the others teams numbers. It's tough keeping a good strategy when you're desperate for the win, so I suggest playing as a Sunflower or Scientist, in order to help keep your teammates alive. You can make a big difference playing a good defensive game, and that desperation transfers nicely to a medic class.
These two things helped me quite a bit, and I hope they help you too !

These matches are much shorter in length than Gardens & Graveyards. If you're placed in a match that's almost over, you can try to switch to the winning team by pressing after pressing the respawn button in the pause menu. This will gain you some quick wins.

The trophy is cumulative. You need to get 25 wins in this mode.

If you lose, you can change the team.

It's worth noting that resurrecting a fallen teammate takes 1 point from your opponent's score, so don't be selfish
