How to unlock the Vampire Hunter achievement in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare - Definitive Guide
Ok so I just got this achievement, setup I used was as follows:
Solo (private invite only) - easy - sharkbite shores - standard pea shooter
On wave 10 the boss wave I span disco guy, normal yeti and baron von bat.
I killed all zombies, disco guy and the yeti and left it to me and baron von bat, I noticed that if I took his health past health way then let him regenerate health by eatin me to full or near to full, then gave him a few shots to annoy him, he would then spawn 3 vampire zombies, I started with no vampire kills and managed to get all 50 in one session by doing this. As it was on easy I managed to survive his attacks without much dodging.
Hope this helps some people, feel free to ask if you need more details ??

The Vampire Zombies seem to be pretty rare. They only seem to appear in gardens in graves (if a human player summons them with a card...which I believe is a rare card), Baron Von Bats will spawn 3 at a time at random, and the best place to farm and last place I've seen them is on a super Vampire Boss wave.
The easiest and fastest way to get this is to use team revives on a super vampire boss wave. You need to survive a super vampire boss wave anyway so I recommend waiting for that wave as opposed to actively using team revives on Baron Von Bat waves as you will get more vampires on the super boss wave.
If you are lucky and get the super vampire boss wave (3 slot reels showing Baron Von Bats on either wave 5 or 10) you can definitely get the achievement on that wave by using team revives.
On the super vampire boss wave, you will get three Baron Von Bat characters along with about 20-30 vampire zombies. Kill all the vampire zombies running around then let the baron(s) kill you. Once given the opportunity, use a team revive (assuming you didn't get 50 vamp kills). This will restart the super boss wave and all the previous vampire kills still count. Using this method you can definitely get the achievement for 2 people and maybe even 3 or 4 if you let the barons keep summoning more vampire zombies from the ground (occurs at random).
Its luck based and can take a while but using team revives on the right waves make it much faster.
If you already have the super vampire boss wave done and need more vampire kills, just keep going to wave 5 or 10 and spinning the reels until you get at least one Baron Von Bat boss. After getting shot, the Baron randomly spawns 3 vampire zombies at his feet. I would run around shooting his feet until he spawned some and when he got to really low health I would let him kill me and use my team revives to start the wave over (which will keep the slot reels what they were the wave you died and spawn the baron(s) again).
I've had the baron spawn 0 vampire zombies and on average 6 / wave but I actually got 15 in one wave off a Baron mini boss before I had to let him kill me. So it seems random when and how many he will spawn.

just keep playing garden ops on easy and when you get baron von bat on wave 5 or 10 kill everyone but him. he will keep spawning vampire zombies if you don't kill him. you can get this cheevo in one game

I know someone else that was able to do that too. I spent one game running around for 20 mins injuring him and letting him heal. He spawned no zombies. Another game he spawned 5 sets of 3. So I don't know why he spawns a ton at times and others 0-6 but yeah you may be able to do it that way without using revives.

Get Baron Von Bats to spawn in Garden Ops in round 5 or 10. Kill all other zombies but him. DON'T shoot him, when he shoots his weapon just stand behind something and when he runs towards you let him take your health. He will teleport around a few times before he spawns 3 vampire zombies. Easy as that.
GARDEN OPS on Easy @ Sharkbite Shores (Map not crucial)
- Get to Wave 10
- Hope for BARON VON BATS in the boss wave slots (restart at Wave 1 if you don't to try again)
- Isolate BVB by killing ALL zombies except for him
- Once you get that set up, follow the trick in the video to get the necessary Vampire Zombie kills for the cheevo

The most annoying part about this cheev is definetly the time it takes to get Baron Von Bats to show up in the Boss Wave Wheel
