How to unlock the Master of Morticulture achievement in Plants vs. Zombies - Definitive Guide

After finishing the adventure mode and getting all plants there. You need to buy 9 more in the shop (all pink cards and 1 grey card). You need about 100 thousand credits. I recommend playing mini games (bowling 2k - 8min) and grow flowers in the Zen Garden.

As you keep playing you will continue to earn new garden plants in every mode. Keep giving the plants their needs to fully grow them (square will flash yellow) and worth 8k. Don't bother buying Marigolds as their not much profit versus the won plants.

In the mushroom and aquarium gardens, plants go for up to $10k when fully grown, so play in night and pool levels as well to increase your chances of getting more lucrative plants. - coffeenebula.

I agree with Marigolds = low profit. And if you have wired controller or plug N play kit you can leave it on overnight in the zen garden.

Great guide. Avoid buying marigolds and just use the pots acquired from the minigames.

This may seem like a dumb thing to add but if you THINK you have bought everything from the store, hit the left or right bumper to see more.

I only can sell my plants for 3.000 each. How do you sell them for 8.000-10.000?

Marigolds are only worth 3,000. The plants you earn from minigames, once watered and fertilised and with a gold glow around their pot, are worth 8,000 (10,000 in the night-time and aquatic gardens).

I have just one question. Do I have to let the plant grow until it has completely grown (golden rectangle)? Maybe seems to be a dumb question but I have got many plants that haven't completely grown, I haven't got more space for them but I need more money in order to buy another zen garden.

Thanks anyway, maybe this is an auto-solved question.

I disagree with doing the zen garden to build cash, I found the last stand method (mentioned in the wisdom tree achievement solution) combined with casual use of the Zen Garden (essentially farming only those plants you get while playing last stand) to be a much faster way of building cash. In a round of last stand I'd net around 8K, plus 3-4 plants, then I'd switch to the garden, get the plants up to first fertilization, switch back to last stand & repeat, selling the plants once I either ran out of room or they reached maturation (8K for most of them).

Buying plants is just a waste of money, as it's $2500 for the plant, plus say 3 fertiliztations, so say about $3k for the plant, and then you get $5k for selling it. That's a profit of a measly $2k for a fair bit of work.

As for the other areas plants going for more, sure, but only if you buy the other garden areas, which are very expensive ($30K each).

To get this achievement you not only need the plants, but also the white card that let's you get a plant twice. That card get a separated position on the right, after you fill all your plantcard spots. Harvesting money in the Zen garden could work for this, as well as playing the survival modes. You get up to three plants at a time which you can sell for 8000 a piece when your lucky.

There are 40 plants that will be obtained simply by playing the Adventure Mode, the other 9 plants must be bought from Crazy Dave. It will cost you $98,000 to buy the 9 plants.

The best way to earn this money is to farm it. The video provided below is by far the easiest method to earn this money.

Along with getting coins, you will also get plants for your Zen Garden. After a few rounds of Last Stand, go in and take care of all your plants. Once you give them the first fertilizer, simply sell them to Crazy Dave for $3,000 each.

The 9 extra plants that have to be purchased are:

- Gatling Pea ($5,000)
- Twin Sunflower ($5,000)
- Gloom-Shroom ($7,500)
- Cattail ($10,000)
- Winter Melon ($10,000)
- Gold Magnet ($3,000)
- Spikerock ($7,500)
- Cob Cannon ($20,000)
- Imitator ($30,000).

Here is the video with the strategy for farming money
