How to unlock the ZFF's 4 Evr achievement in Plants vs. Zombies - Definitive Guide

Firstly you will need to unlock coop mode by playing through the adventure mode. Then unlock mini-games in the same way. Now complete a game of single player bowling in the mini-games menu which should unlock the coop version under the coop menu. Then simply win a game of bowling in cooperative mode.

The achievement should pop for both player 1 and player 2. I'm unsure if you need to have completed adventure mode first.

In terms of winning at bowling I'd recommend saving the red walnuts for larger groups and don't be afraid to let the lawnmowers take out a row or two especially towards the end. I hope this helps!

I have played and beaten single player bowling, but I don't have an option to play it in co-op.

I actually did this by myself with 2 controllers. I don't suggest doing that though unless you're good and coordinated :P Was pretty tricky and some VERY close calls.

Have you completed adventure mode yet? Also have you checked in the coop menu because it's not in the same section as single player bowling.

Did it alone with two controllers, didn't even lose a single lawnmower. It's not that tough.

This achivement is unlocked by completing the co-op bowling challege, not the wall-nut bowling minigame in co-op, you can't do the minigames in co-op. Also it is possible to get the 'Crash of the Titan' achievement here first as this challenge unlocks before you meet the Gargantuar in the story.

Didn't know that bit about "Crash of the Titan" -- nice! I completed this by myself with two controllers, although it was rather hectic at times.

@XBr0ck SampsonX In theory you should be able too, would need to check if you can use the d-pad for directional control.

I did this using both controllers at the same time, tricky but easily doable. Trick is save the reds for the groups and just keep ploughing at it. The last wave was quite easy just finished off the last tin hat with a red and ... bing! Good luck.

This is CRAZY doing it with two controllers at once. I BARELY got it. Had it not been for a few timely bombs at the end, I would have been doing it again (and again and again and so on I have a feeling laugh)

I found it easier to play normally with one controller and let the balls build up on the other. Once I ran out on the controller I was holding I would switch and repeat. Easy!

Agree completely with BadMrFrosty here, just play normally and then switch back and forth between controllers. Got it on my first try, and only a couple of lawnmowers on the final wave had to be used. I feel a little sad because I did a co-op achievement alone though.

The Co-op bowling mode is unlocked as you play through adventure mode.

I did this by myself with two controllers first try, but it was stressful. You also have to be quick about it, if you're doing it alone. So half the time I was alternating between controllers very fast and setting them down on the ground. The other half of the time, I was using one hand for each controller. If you have a buddy, it's super easy to do it the way it was meant to be played. But if you don't, don't sweat! You can knock it out in 10 minutes if you're focused.

You will need to unlock Co-op mode first by playing through adventure mode. Upon unlocking, simply connect a second controller and win one game of Wall Nut Bowling. The difficulty is raised up a bit since the game expects two players to be playing, so you will either need to switch between controllers, or have a friend play with you.

Here's a vid:

Once you complete adventure mode you will need to go play the Wall-Nut bowling mini game. After you complete this in the coop mode Wall-Nut bowling will become available. Just play through it with a friend or have the 2nd controller as a back up to store Wall-Nuts so you can switch over when you run out. Remember to bowl the Wall-Nut which kills the last zombie.

Once you have finished Adventure Mode Wall-Nut Bowling will become available in Co-op Mode. Bowling a "winner" means winning the round. To bowl a Wall-Nut press to send the Wall-nut down the row you placed it on. Simply play through the Wall-Nut Bowling with two controllers ensuring that you use the first controller to kill the last zombie.

PLEASE NOTE: Some people have reported needing to complete the bowling mini game in solo, before it will show up in co-op. So, if you finish your adventure mode playthrough and do not have the co-op bowling available, simply complete the solo bowling first.
