In the tutorial, have a fish be cooked. By picking it up then putting it on the stove, wait for the meter to be full then pick it up then put it into the green bin.

When you first start the game it loads the tutorial, but you can also always go back to it by going to the ? labeled "Tutorial" in the top right of the warehouse. In the tutorial grab a fish with A (haven't played PC yet), place it on the hob (stove) with A again. When it's done pick it up with A yet again before it burns, then instead of putting it on a plate as prompted go to the trash can on the left side and press A a final time to drop it in. Should pop immediately.
