Choose an early day. When your first customer comes in do not take their order until the very last minute. Leave them until no other customers come in before serving them their order.

I just pressed Y to start the game and stood there unmoving until the day ended... I didn't do anything at all.

Can confirm, wait timer for customers on the early days is longer than the day timer

This can be done very early in the game. Simply load up a game and start the day by pressing Y. Then wait until the timer at the top reaches the end and the achievement will unlock.
