Poi

This is for completing Poi in New Game + mode. This requires that you complete the game in the first place, then start a new save file in + mode.

The features of New Game + are different from other games that allow you to keep upgrades and levels and the like. Instead, Poi makes the following changes:
1) The world is horizontally-reversed, similar to the difference in "Zelda: Twilight Princess" between the GameCube and Wii versions. This includes the Compass, which is now N-W-S-E going clock-wise (turning to your right)
2) You have one heart, maximum. The option to buy the Heart Upgrade is removed. You get hurt, you lose your money and you get dropped back at the last checkpoint. This increases the difficulty, infuriatingly so on a few select parts of the game.

With one heart, all hazards are a life-and-death risk, especially traps like flame geysers and enemies such as the moles and snakes. If you're hit, you have to restart at the last checkpoint with no coins, so money can be a bit tighter in a New Game+. Given the flakey, imprecise jumping controls, avoid monsters when possible. Tunneling moles are extremely dangerous, so the best way to take them out is to let them tunnel towards you, then double-jump to ensure you are way off the ground when they pop up. Otherwise, avoid them, and other enemies if you can.

All-in-all, your goals are to:
1) Obtain 60 medals from the various islands, minigames, and other tasks
2) Have the Mysterious Gate appear
3) Obtain the four Clue Stones
4) Complete the Mysterious Gate level
5) Beat the final boss without getting hurt

As soon as you pick up the Milky Way Globe after beating the final boss, the achievement will unlock.
