Beating a "Star Player" means beating a player in a single hand with a star next to his profile picture. Star Player was level 20. But, I do not know exactly when a player earns a star to their name. I did not personally get a star for doing this. Am sure in the future they'll be more specifics on how to get this done easier. As of now, mostly luck getting into a game with someone that has a star.

I have a star next to my name and I'm level 16, I did however get it after being in a 24k cash game, and walking away with over 100k

I have the achievement. But do not have a star next to my name unfortunately.

I've done this multiple times now, and have gotten the XP bonus for doing so, but achievement has not popped. Not sure if this is bugged or not.

Edit: It popped about 20 minutes later so not sure what triggered it or if it’s just delayed

I have beat / bust a player in PCC gameplay with a star.

No cheevo popping.

Ill wait the edit from Tomahawk 5K
and see if it pops or not.
