How to unlock the Jack Of All Trades achievement in Pool Nation FX - Definitive Guide
There are 10 different basic rule sets in this game:
9 Ball
8 Ball
8 Ball UK
3 Ball
Straight
Rotation
Golf
Speed
Killer
Snooker
Single player Career games do not count for some reason, but online games do. If you are struggling to win a particular game type, you can boost it with a partner. Forfeiting a game immediately will credit your partner with the win. If you are not very good at this game, boosting every game type like this might be the quickest way of getting this done. However, for some reason, online Snooker wins do not seem to count, so you'll need to do that in single player Versus mode.
If you are doing this whole thing alone, simply go into versus mode, set the AI to Easy, and start at the beginning of the list, i.e 9 Ball, ensuring that you win the match before moving on to the next game type. When you win your final game (Snooker) the achievement should pop. There seems to be some confusion over whether 8 Ball UK is required. You might as well do in anyway, or else leave it until last, and if the achievement doesn't pop, go back and do it.
If you are unsure of the rules for any of these, there is a help section accessed from the pause menu in-game that will help you out.

You should note that wins in Career do not seem to count for this.

Yeah. It's only wins in 'Versus' that count.

If you don't have a person to boost these wins online with you can do them all in Versus but you don't have to play against the AI. When you are choosing to start the game if you hit Y you can add a 2nd player that will also be controlled by your controller so just beat yourself in all the game types and the achievement should unlock.

The method that my friend and I used to each get this achievement and this one
The modes that you need to win on are the following:
9 ball
8 ball
8 ball UK
3 ball
Straight
Rotation
Golf
Speed
Killer
Snooker
To create the lobby against your partner. From the Play tab (menu menu) go to Online then go to Friendlies. Under the Lobby tab, change the following settings:
Game type: change to the mode you need with the
Frames: 25 (doesn't matter the frames, but it will help towards the following achievements:
Other settings don't matter (change the location If needed). Now create the lobby (if "currently locked content" pops up, just use default settings). When in the lobby screen, you'll see the lobby settings on the left side. To the right of your gamertag, go to Aiming Level and change that to Off with the (have your partner do the same). Invite your partner to the game and press Ok.
When in-game, the person not getting the win will press and go down to Forfeit game. There will be a short cinematic, then it will bring up a menu with a Restart option; both of you will restart the game. The person who just got the win in the previous game will now forfeit (so both players will have a win for that game mode!). When the menu with the restart option pops back up, instead of pressing restart, press Continue and it will bring you back to the lobby screen. Now go back to the lobby settings and change your game type.
Each game type for the both of you using this method should take about a minute.
If there is anything i forgot to add, let me know.

Here's a much quicker solution to this:
Play a local vs. human game of each type (9 Ball, 8 Ball or 8 Ball UK, 3 Ball, Straight, Rotation, Golf, Speed, Killer, and Snooker) but there's no need to actually play it, just have the second player forfeit the game. You get the win and it counts toward the achievements. It can be done in less than 10 minutes.
If you set the lobby to no aim you can also complete "No Aimz Champion!" at the same time.
