How to unlock the Air Show achievement in Portal 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievment is most easily done on your first playthrough in the mass and velocity course. There are many locations in the course where you go through an infinanite fall with two portals, one on the floor and one on the ceiling, where the ceiling is low. You can simply hit up to gesture twice and this achievment will pop. If you have already completed the game and are returning to get this achievement, simply follow the 2 guides below for the excursion tunnel course.

When your doing Excursion Tunnels section just press up on the D-Pad twice, you should have more than enough time to do it twice. I got it on the first Excursion Tunnel level.

There are numerous ways to do this. You can do this with the Excursion Tunnel which is by far the easiest. You just sit in the blue gravitational tunnel and do 2 aerial gestures. Or you can lay a portal directly below you and one right above you and keep falling through them and do 2 aerial gestures while your falling. You can also lay two portals on the ground and jump into one from a decent height and just go back and fourth between them. To do an aerial gesture press

This doesn't require a specific level, time in the air or anything other than enough white tiles on the floor for two portals. Create two portals on the ground and step in so that you are bobbing back and forth between the two. Press up on the d-pad. Twice. Achievement unlocked.

Recommend doing this at the same time as Four Ring Circus which is most easily done with a similar setup

In course 4, you will have to use blue excursion funnels to get around. All you have to do is simply perform two gestures with the while floating in these funnels to get this trophy.

This one is pretty simple. Do two gestures while in an excursion funnel and it should unlock for you.

It’s very simple - we do it in episode 3 “ Excursion Funnel ”. When we accelerate through two portals, open one above the other, we take our time and press any two gestures.

It will freeze in a loop (make a portal in the ceiling and in the floor) and while you are flying (in a loop) make two gestures
