Asking for Trouble

Asking for Trouble

Taunt GLaDOS in front of a camera in each of the five co-op courses

10

How to unlock the Asking for Trouble achievement in Portal 2 - Definitive Guide

There are a total of six course in the co-op including the tutorial course. The tutorial course does not count towards this so don't worry about that one.

Each time you enter a new course find a camera on the wall inside of any of the chambers and perform a gesture in it's view. The camera will then zoom in on you and GlaDos will say one of her many funny lines, usually telling you how stupid you look.

So basically you only have to remember to taunt GlaDoS after the fourth course, because in all of the previous courses, you automatically learn a new taunt/emote that is performed in front of a camera

@Aesiwatt - You are incorrect. You have to initiate the taunt. I forgot about the achievement until course 4, and had to go back and do 1, 2, and 3 again.

I also completed the course I did the taunt on when I was mopping up, since I wasn't exactly sure if it had to be saved.

@Hokiie - Just do 1 chamber and quit. I did it split screen by myself, it wasn't too hard.

can you get these w/o completing the course? ie: load up each one, taunt, quit, load up the next?

I''ve done all 5 levels twice now and still nothing. Do have to use a specific move?

I had the same problem as above. After repeating the first stage of each course I still didn't get the achievement but after I taunted the camera on 5-2 the achievement unlocked.

Instead of doing the first stage on each course try using the second.

It would be nice if you could add the comment details to the solution.

You must taunt GLaDOS at least once in each of the five co-op course. This means you only need to do it a total of 5 times. You do not need to do it for every chamber, only every course. You can do any gesture you want so wave, dance, or taunt her. You will know that it counts because you will see yourself through the camera's feedback. The Cameras are usually above the doors you need to go through at the end of the chamber.

Note: The co-op tutorial does not count for this.

All you have to do for this achievement is find a camera on any course once in chambers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Press up on the d-pad and choose any gesture and if you do it right you will see through the camera and either Atlas or P-body do a gesture and GLaDOS will comment on how she doesn't care about you. Do that once in each chamber and the achievement should unlock.

At the end of each test chamber, press and gesture with the at the camera on the wall. Make sure you do this at least once for each of the 5 courses. You'll know you did it right when it goes to GLaDOS's viewpoint.

In other words, we need to laugh 5 times - cameras, most often, are located in front of the exit from the sublevels.
