How to unlock the Armor-Retentive (Middle Rift) achievement in Portal Knights - Definitive Guide
This is for crafting an entire set of armor in the middle rift forge for any class. I will state these achievements seem to be a tad bit glitchy. If you complete an entire set and the achievement doesn't pop you will have to complete an entire set of a different class. It does not need to be all in one run either.
There are 2 forges in this rift. One at floor 4 and one at floor 8. So if you dont have enough crystals for any of the pieces you are missing at floor 4 just hang on to what you have until you hit floor 8.
Below are the rift crystal requirements for each item:
Hood/Helm: 800 rift crystals
Gloves/Gauntlets: 100 rift crystals
Tunic/Chestplate: 1200 rift crystals
Breeches/Greaves: 300 rift crystals
If you are having issues getting 1200 in one run (which should be fairly easy) then make sure you have a weapon with extraction on which gives a percentage change of dropping crystals when attacking and craft some Scrolls of Rift Stability to give you more time. Also, keep your ears open. The best way to know you are by a chest is to listen for the glistening sounds they make.
Below is a crystal "speed run"-ish game I did specifically for rift crystals and to show where alot of the chests are as well. Keep in mind the rooms do change however the chests in each room do not. If you do watch the entire video you will notice that I skipped certain rooms because those rooms are a pain in general and didn't want to waste my time on them. On this run I got almost 1800 crystals so getting the 1200 for the chestplate/tunic shouldn't be too hard.
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.
Credit to frenchdawg - it seems you can share crystals in co-op.

How do you craft the Scrolls of Rift Stability and the one for Healing?

Scrolls of stability can only be crafted at the rift forges. Healing scrolls I believe can be crafted at one of the regular forge stations. The weapons with extraction also can only be crafted at the rift forge stations as well, I believe
