There's currently a bug that can make this fairly quick.
The Community Board refreshes every Monday in the town hall after a few missions. Get your first set of tasks on a Monday (skip the white meat ones over 3 as fishing can take forever), finish which ones you can before the end of the day and then go and die. You should respawn in your home at noon on Monday and the Community Board will be reset. Finish what you can and repeat.
You can also abuse this for some quick and easy money.

This bug, unfortunately, no longer exists. If one gets knocked out by the monsters, the game skips to the next day at noon.
