Once you get a few Pro or Elite packs, hopefully you'll have enough power-boosting gear to really boost his power up. During Golfer Setup, you can click LS to see the actual stat values - I got this achievement handily at 290 power.
As for a good hole, Rocky Ridge hole 3 has an open and straight fairway which drops 50 feet from the easy tees. Best way to get to it is Free Play > Rocky Ridge > Par 5s > Amateur Difficulty.

Great guide, worked perfectly! Just wanted to add that while 290 is more than enough, there's no need to wait til that is reached, and I hope this helps anyone having trouble getting the right gear to get this. It seems like power would have to at least be 216, which is what mine is at, and I managed to scrape by with 302.** yards. I was using the Galactic woods, Slugger irons, and the Burnout ball to boost my power to 216. (same course/settings)

Just wanna add that I got this with a measly 126 power (I hit it perfectly on max power) by playing the Cliffhanger Meet (The one where you unlock Kiara for winning). This meet gives you around 17-18 wind speed heading away from you, allowing the ball to travel much further. It's more annoying than free play due to the fact that there are two holes before it, so replayability is reduced, but for anyone struggling to get their power up, this can help.
