Chip-ins are easiest to do with Reiko's special ability, Tesla Field, which makes the ball magnetic and home into the hole. You'll want to try to stop the ball a bit short of the hole so that the magnet pulls it into the hole rather than past it. I've personally had good luck using Pitch shots to get it in close for it.
A chip-in also counts as a spectacular hole out, so once you get this, you'll also unlock another achievement.
The Movie Star achievement in Powerstar Golf worth 29 pointsHole out spectacularly, triggering an automatic game clip.
If you make the shot from 150 yards or more, you'll get another achievement.
The Rules of Attraction achievement in Powerstar Golf worth 46 pointsSink the ball from over 150 yards away using Reiko's Tesla Field ability.

Spot on - on the Par 3 set on City last from the end, first hole you can get 6 achievements (if you're lucky), and 5 if you're not!
