This is a straightforward acheivement to get, using Astrid the caddie.
At the set up page just before you start, select the caddie (Y from memory), the RT to change it from Kirby to Astrid.
Her special ability is to predict the path of your putt. So when you are on the green, press Y, move the cursor to where you think it should be to hole the putt, then push/hold B and a line will appear, showing you where the ball will finish. Hopefully it will be in the hole, but if not, adjust accordingly.
Personally, as I found putt predictor a lot more helpful than shot predictor, this will come with time. However, if you really want to boost it, play 18 holes City Park (so you get four guesses), and on 4 greens putt it until you are more than 10ft away (possibly on a level line), and then use putt predictor. Then play another 18, and use the putt preview ASAP to get your fifth.
