So the first guide doesn't go into enough detail but, there is the Ancient Statue and the Ancient Monument. The monument is a Giant hand pointing at the sun, you unlock it at 170 stars. Wash it only with the white(40 degree) Nozzle and the Achievement is yours.

Be careful if leaving the level and coming back to it as the game auto loads the yellow nozzle which isn't as obvious to differentiate as normal due to the orange colour of the desert background. Change to white before continuing. Learned the hard way after 50 minutes cleaning wasted...

I can confirm that this isn't a very lenient cheev, I failed to get it after accidentally switching nozzles and spraying a spot I had already cleaned, so careful on those shoulder buttons! I believe the threshold was hitting the hand with ANY water not from the white nozzle.

Be very careful if auto resume doesn’t work and the game reloads. You will be loaded in with a different nozzle

For anyone wondering, yes, you can use the extensions to make it easier. Just make sure its ONLY the WHITE nozzle.

I've done this one twice now using just the white nozzle and still no achievement! I even made sure the white nozzle was equipped before I loaded the level and still nothing

It popped for me but I had nothing else equipped. Not even any extensions. It was difficult, especially the index finger but aiming straight up and a bit of jumping hit the higher bits. Hope this helps

You can use extensions and you can accidentally hit the shoulder buttons if it doesn't touch dirt. I was facing away from the monument and accidentally switched to the yellow nozzle and I still got it in the end and so did my co-op partner (who also switched but wasn't facing the monument).

@MWmike There are no ladders in this level.

Jut got it it there, i'll add in that you can use the extensions to the power washer and it still pops as long as you do not change the nozzle.
I couldn't find an answer as to that as the description says 'only the white nozzle'

The more you know i suppose but just in case anyone is as paranoid as i am and curious to the answer.

@Bishop1982: Maybe because its not the first time developers making mistakes in achievements? Are you here the first time? I also double checked even before starting the statue. And yes i know what the difference between a statue and monument is... So the question itself is good because it would not be the first time its described wrong. Anyway it would be wasted time...

On the ANCIENT MONUMENT level, NOT ANCIENT STATUE, equip the 40 Degree Nozzle on your power washer and when you clean up the hand, the achievement will pop.

Doesn't work.
I also did all the statue with the white nozzle and it didn't unlock.
I used the red on the buckets but exclusively white for the statue, so it might void it.

I've never had problems with guides till I came across this game. Firstly the statue doesn't even have a hand and secondly, washing just onw part with the white nozzle does nothing. This Solution is invalid

Just to clarify for everyone confused: this achievement refers to the Ancient Monument not Ancient Statue. Ancient Monument is a hand pointing at the sun.

Maybe it's the fact that it's worded similarly and you can upload photos with your guide to make sure there is no confusion. Maybe that's the sole problem here

When you go to the Ancient monment (which is like the Ancient statue except its a finger) you need to switch to the White NMuzzle (default key to hold is "2" and you take the 40 degree nozzle (white). Now clan the entire statue (which is kind of a pain but with some patience you will make it).

SomeSome parts are tricky to reach, some are really easy. Since there is no real winning formula the only thing i can say is try different extensions (Default hold "1") and try whatever fits you and gets the job done. Also Freeing the washer with "C" (default) can help you get in those tight spots.

If you completed it in Career you can find this in Free play -> Locations -> CLean the Ancient Monument

This one is a right slog! The white nozzle, AKA the 40m nozzle, is the super light one, so that means this achievement will take a while. This achievement is like the Powerful Pressure Purist (30G) one, as in you can only use the specified nozzle. In this case, the white one.

Not much to say here that will help people out, other than get close and change angles of elevation on the fingers (standing, crouching and crawling), and just have fun. You can, by the way, use extensions, just don't change the nozzle from the white one and you're golden.
