First play on easy
Start by moving to the right, there will be some enemies in the wheat field. Continue going right towards a broken bridge with another attack in the forest right before it. Demote a spearman and repair the bridge. Go across it and upwards are some cavalry to send some spearmen and slingers after. Now head to the town until they tell you to kill some enemies for them. Head up to the ridge and kill them then head back. Put your commander in town to make units if not at cap and set up a tower.
Now head left to fight some more enemies you might have seen from the ridge. They surrender quickly, now just go to the town in the center. They say they need help with the army attacking them, so head to the town then go left to find a sizable attacking force. Take them out then head onto the ridge below the town to take out the last of them. Once the enemy army is dead put a commander in town build a tower and move to the left bridge to the top island.
Repair and head across the bridge to the last town were they say they are surrounded. Enemies come from every possible route into the town. The ridge right below where you came in has a siege weapon and the forest right above that likes to hide an archer or two. Otherwise just kill all the enemies, it should be fairly easy since I had over 700 of the 500 soldier max because of the free units from helping the towns.
