How to unlock the Cold Treason achievement in Praetorians - HD Remaster - Definitive Guide

First start on easy.
Go forward a little bit and meet some ally spearmen. Follow these spearmen and kill any enemies that attack them or you. The route takes you around a city and to the fort, don't do more than follow and defend the spearmen.
Once at the fort you get more units but little freedom with them. Start making archers and a few spearmen to defend the fort. It mainly gets attacked by the top left, left, and all along the bottom. Once you got archers and spearmen along those areas make cavalry. Keep all but one commander in the fort, then its time for revenge.
Now take your mostly cavalry army below the fort to the tower with allies overlooking the center town. Once your close they will join you, move an archer into the tower. Take your now larger army and head to the back to the fort then head to the left most town, of course picking up more allied units on the ridge overlooking this town. Make your way around the ridge and capture the town. Leave the one commander you had with you here, and build a tower or two and archers to defend it. Make more units as needed( I hit the unit cap here). Now just take your mass of units to destroy either town( faster then capturing) to beat the mission.
