First play on easy.
The mission this time is to defend the fort for half an hour. Most of the enemy attacks are going to be coming from the stone bridge side.
As fast as you can use the barracks to make two physicians then just pump out archers. Place the commanders and physicians one each under the towers closest to the gates so most troops are in the effects of at least one commander. Move your archers onto the towers or the front wall, the side wall will not be attacked. Place the one spearman not already on the wall to right behind the gate in stationary formation. I used one legionary in turtle formation right in front of the gate to draw siege and archer fire away from the walls. Use cavalry to attack lone units.
About half way through there will be a big attack. Try to have the infantry repair the front gate but if it falls its not a big deal. If the gate does break send out the infantry and legionary to kill as many as you can. Once you get past this it will be like you won already just keep archers on the wall and a line of spearman at the gate and it will be over in no time.
