Praetorians - HD Remaster

First play on easy.
Just like the name of the mission this one is pure chaos.

You will be attacked right at mission start so put archers in the two towers above and to the right. Get the unnamed commander in the town and make two or three physicians, then cavalry and legionaries. First wave is usually to the left, use horses to stop the mounted archers from running then get some spearmen to them for a faster kill. The forest below is a common spot for archers to hide and shoot from so get a legionary in there. The left and top can hold well with the towers and some infantry support.

After a while you are told its time to retreat and link up with the others. Leave the unnamed commander in the town to keep producing units and keep one archer tower going. This town running and slightly protected will keep enemies distracted and the units it produces will either be a better distraction or if its lucky link up with the main force.

Now you can either head down the river and go up at the mid point to get to the first ally or go up and around the lake in the middle of the map to reach them.( I found the upper lake route faster and easier) Kill enemies as you see them so you don't get overwhelmed. Once you meet up with the first ally put a unnamed commander(you can promote one from any unit) in the town, an archer in the tower, and produce units(not legionaries this time). This gives more distraction and has a better chance to join the main force.

Now with more units under your command head to the last ally. There is a pretty direct route(down and right) and your army should be able to handle more enemies now. Once there don't leave any units behind this time and head to the now reveal point in the map straight down from this camp. After you reached the boat you see some siege machines across the river. Follow the river up with your whole army until about half way there is a shallow point you can cross.( leave your legionaries here, they can't follow you anyway) Head over to the siege weapons now and take them out. Your horses and spearmen may have to take a longer way because of the forest. Once the siege are out of the picture the mission just ends there.
